Keeping in Touch

There are many opportunities for parents to keep in touch with the school and their children. If you have and concerns at all do not hesitate to contact the class teacher in the first instance or the Head Teacher, but please be aware of teachers commitments so speak to them before or after school. In October and February you will be able to discuss your child’s progress and any difficulties with the class teacher. In July you will receive a written report, this will be followed by a progress meeting. Newsletters keep you informed of school activities and are sent home by pupil post. Assemblies on Fridays are open to all parents and celebrate the achievements of our pupils. Each class will also produce an assembly in the year to which their parents are invited. This invitation extends to coffee and biscuits afterwards. Parents and community are invited to contribute to school by sharing their skills and talking about special interests, bringing objects to school for the children to see, handle and talk about, and talk about their job etc. Come and work in school as a voluntary helper. There are plenty of jobs to do and your support is greatly appreciated!
