Dear Parents,

Please read, amend, sign and return the Data Collection sheet attached. Please note that this information has been held on the computer for a long period of time. You must make sure that all telephone numbers are correct. When returned, Mrs Callow will enter the corrected information into the school system. All forms must be returned to class teachers by Thursday 22^nd September 2005. Please sign the bottom of the sheet before returning.

We have also included in this pack the Home School Agreement for 2005-2006. Please read this together with your child – explain the purpose, then please sign it and get your child to do the same. We have talked about this with the children in assembly. Please return to your child’s class teacher by Thursday 22^nd September 2005.

The Ferndale Bears – which are awarded for good work, attendance and off-site residential visits are earned. You can start your collection or add to it by purchasing a BearGundy Bear from the office for £2, while stocks last!

We hold a Celebration Assembly each Friday morning from 9a.m. until 9-45a.m. Parents are welcome to join us for this assembly and share in the successes of the children.

All children must have a PE kit in school. This should consist of shorts, top and pumps. This should be kept on the child’s coat peg throughout the week in readiness for their lessons.

Children who have individual or group music lessons (violin, woodwind and steel pans) must send in their tuition fees by Friday 30^th September 2005.

We would like to bring to our attention the fact that we have launched the new Ferndale Website. Copies of letters will be posted on this site together with other information about the school. You can find it at www.ferndaleprimary.co.uk.
