Parent & Toddler
Your Group Leaders are:
Christine Heywood.
Christine is a qualified LSP who works with special needs children within the school.
She is also a qualified First Aider.
Sandra Rumsby.
Sandra is a qualified LSP and also works with our special needs children.
She is also a dinnertime supervisor.
What we do
We do different activities every week and use the work that is produced by the children
in different themed displays throughout the year. Some of these activities include:
Colouring
Gluing and sticking
Painting
Structured play
Solving Jigsaw puzzles
Singing
Why Come here?
We are very friendly. We provide swimming sessions of 20mins,
between 9.30am and 11.10am. It cost is £2 per child. These are booked and paid for in advance. This group is an introduction to a great school, the head teacher invites you to book an appointment to view the nursery and school in action.
Many friendships have been forged at the group, so come and a cup of tea and chat!
Whilst you are at Ferndale Parent and Toddler group
You are responsible for your child/children
Your Children are not to play with school
equipment
Please ensure that your child/children do not take indoor toys outside
Please help your child/children to get on with others.
These are some simple rules and we all try to implement them to ensure everyone has a happy and enjoy able time at the group
